Artificial grass
Artificial grass only looks right if the ground under it is right. Most of the work is the base: dug out, compacted and drained, so the lawn stays flat and does not hold puddles.
We lay it with the pile running towards the house, so you see the fuller side from your windows, and keep the joins along the length of the garden where they are hardest to see.
What's included
- Old turf and soil dug out
- Compacted sub-base and sharp sand or grano dust
- Weed membrane
- Edging so the lawn holds its shape
- Joins hidden and the lawn pinned and brushed
- Waste taken away
Every job comes with a 12-month guarantee, written on the quote.
Questions about artificial grass
Will it drain?
Yes. The backing is perforated and the base underneath is free-draining, so rain goes straight through.
Can you lay artificial grass next to a new patio?
Yes, many of our gardens have both: the patio edge doubles as the edging for the lawn.
