This notice explains how Samy Landscape & Construction ("we", "us") uses personal information when you ask for a quote, book a job, contact us or use this website.
Who we are
Samy Landscape & Construction is the trading name of SAMY LANDSCAPE & CONSTRUCTION LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company no. 15416375), registered office 40 Deanscroft Avenue, London, NW9 8EN. SAMY LANDSCAPE & CONSTRUCTION LTD is the controller of your information. Contact: info.samylandscapeconstruction@gmail.com, 07480 607121.
What we collect
- What you send through the contact form: your name, phone number, email address, the job, your town or postcode, when you'd like it done and your message.
- What you send by phone, WhatsApp or email, such as photos of your garden, measurements, the address where the work is done and the dates that suit you.
Why we use it, and the legal basis
- To reply to you, visit, quote and carry out the work: steps you asked for before a contract, and the contract itself (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)).
- To keep the records tax law requires, such as payments: legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep this website secure and working: our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f)).
We don't use your details for marketing and we don't sell them.
Who helps us
These providers handle information for us, only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, which hosts this website and processes form submissions.
- Resend, which delivers the form to our email inbox.
- Afaceri Diaspora Ltd, which built and maintains this website and keeps a copy of form messages so none are lost.
- WhatsApp (Meta) and our email provider, when you contact us that way.
- Google, only if you click "Allow" (Google Analytics).
Some of these providers may process information outside the UK. Where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don't lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Payment records are kept for as long as tax law requires (usually six years). Photos of your garden are kept only while we quote and work on it, and are deleted when you ask. We show photos of finished gardens without house numbers or anything that identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it or ask us to restrict it. Email info.samylandscapeconstruction@gmail.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising. Google Analytics (visit statistics) loads only if you allow it; when they do, Google may set cookies and receive your IP address. See the cookie notice.
